This is a great hat!! Keeps the sun out of my eyes and off of my ears and neck!! I really like the way u can form the brim however you want and it will stay where you put it!!!

The already confusing choice of M/L or L/XL which, according to the pop-up SIZING window equals traditional hat sizes "7 - 7-1/4" or "7-3/8 - 7-5/8", was way off and for some reason "SIZE - Runs Small > Runs Large" is not even an option for hat reviews as it is for other clothing so reading product reviews was no help. I based my order of an L/XL on my S___ K___ wool hat, which is a 7-3/8 and, if anything is a bit snug if I haven't had a haircut in a while. This Carhartt hat is laughable oversized, falls right down around my ears with enough excess room to stick both my hands into the band and still loose! The so-called "Detachable draw cord with barrel lock for custom fit" does nothing to adjust the actual "fit" of hat around one's head, only around the chin... Bought on sale, so not worth the return shipping cost to return it. I'll probably add eyelets and use a leather shoe lace as "tie" to get some use out of it.

Purchased 2 of these hats, one for me one for my son. I have been wearing it just about every day since it came in the mail, and it is very comfortable. Seems to be made very well and so far so good. I'll be throwing it in the washer this week for a cleaning and see how it does. Nice product so far and good sale price as well.
