When using a credit card or PayPal, you are charged for your order as soon as you click the Submit Order button. You also have the option of sending a check or money order, in which case we will not ship your package until the check clears or we receive the money order.

Sales tax will be applied to orders shipping within the state of Missouri. There is no sales tax for any order shipping outside the state of Missouri.

Carhartt has been in business since 1889 due in large part to its high-quality production standards. A Carhartt Factory 2nd is a product that fell just short of those standards. Usually, Factory 2nds have either a small stitching error, slight discoloration or a minor fabric irregularity that was reinforced at the factory. Whatever the irregularity, all products in this category are new from the factory and still offer the fit and durability you'd expect from Carhartt. We are unable to tell you what is wrong with each garment; honestly, we can't find what is wrong most of the time. What we do know is that while Carhartt Factory 2nds may not qualify for Sunday's best, they will provide the character and durability ready to tackle Monday's worst – all while keeping a few dollars in your pocket.

If you are unable to choose a color or size, we are currently sold out of that item.

We ask for your email address in order to send you a confirmation and order summary, as well as shipping information and updates. We also use this as the primary form of contact if there are any issues with your order. We do not sell any of your information and will only use your email to send you order updates. If you do not sign up for our email list, we will not send you promotional emails.

No, you must use a credit card, money order, or check when placing orders over the phone.

When your card is declined in our system, it creates a pending charge to your account. We are not holding the funds nor has your order been placed. Generally, it takes 2-3 business days for the pending charge to be automatically dropped from your account.

In order to use your in-store gift card online, you will need to contact customer service to convert your in-store card to an online gift card code. This code will then need to be entered on the last page of checkout under the payment information.

No, we do not accept Carhartt gift cards in-store or online. They can only be used at Carhartt.com.

Yes. We use an SSL Certificate from Verisign® with 256-bit encryption to keep your information secure. Your transaction details get processed through First Data and we DO NOT store any of your credit card information.

Yes. If you have an account with us, you may login and view any order that you have placed. If you do not have an account with us, you may still view your order here. We will provide you with an order status if your item hasn't shipped or a tracking number if it has been shipped.

You will need to call us immediately at 866-538-6427, submit the online Order Change/Request form, or send an email to info@dungarees.com to change your order. If the order has been shipped, we cannot make any changes to your order. If you need to change your shipping address and your order has been shipped, you may be subject to additional shipping fees.

If your order is over $55 and shipping within the contiguous United States, then shipping is FREE. If it is less than $55, you will be charged $5.95 for shipping. Generally, orders delivering within the continental United States ship out within 1-6 business days. The package usually delivers within 1-5 business days after it leaves our facility. If an item you have ordered is on backorder, you will be notified during checkout and by email.

Most orders inside the continental Unites States are shipped via UPS (or the UPS SurePost service), FedEX (or FedEx SmartPost services), or the United States Postal Service. International and Alaska/Hawaii/APO/US Territories orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service. If you are unable to upgrade shipping during checkout, we may be currently sold out of one or more of the items on your order, in which case we are unable to upgrade shipping. In this instance, your order will ship out in 2-6 business days. Other circumstances -- like an unrecognized address or special shipping requirements for the item you are purchasing -- may also limit your upgraded shipping options. In cases like this, it's best to contact a customer service representative for additional information.

No, all shipping costs must be paid directly to Dungarees.

Yes. You are always responsible for the shipping cost for packages coming back to Dungarees whether it is an exchange or a return. You may choose any carrier and we would recommend insuring your package. We also have UPS return shipping labels available for $5.95 for orders shipping in the contiguous 48 states. Download your label. (Note: YETI coolers, cushions, seadeks and Carhartt dog beds do not qualify for the flat rate $5.95 return label due to their size and weight.)

Exchanges work the same as new orders. If the total value of your exchange order is less than $55, you will be charged $5.95 for shipping. If the value of your exchange order is over $55, your exchange will ship for free.

Once we receive your return package, we will charge the original form of payment used for your original transaction. If you are returning for a refund, we will refund $5.95 less to your account. You do not pay UPS if you are using our shipping label.

Once we receive your returned shipment, it is processed within 1-3 business days. If you are expecting a refund, please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to post to your account. If you need your exchange items faster, you may place a new order and request a refund for your original order.

Yes, but the item is subject to a restocking fee of 10-20%. If the item is not in re-sellable condition (washed, worn, etc.) it will be returned to you at your expense. Read Dungarees' Return Policy.

In some cases, we do allow returns after 90 days for exchange only. It is determined on a case by case basis so please contact us before returning your item.

To report defective items, you must contact a Dungarees customer service representative by phone or email. Defective claims are handled on a case by case basis and will be addressed carefully by our customer service team.

When an item is on backorder, it will ship from the factory as soon as it is available. If you have other items in your order and your order total is $110 (i.e. $55 x 2 = $110.00) or higher, we will ship the available items separately for free. If your order total is less than $110 and you would still like to receive the available items before the backorder date, we will ship them separately for an additional charge of $5.95. Otherwise, all of your items will be held to ship at once.

Creating an account saves your shipping/billing address and will automatically fill that information in every time you place an order with us. We DO NOT store your credit card information, so you will have to fill out that information each time. Your account will also keep an order history. Create an account now.

While Carhartt does manufacture some of their merchandise in the USA, a wide variety of items are manufactured outside of the USA.

We believe Carhartt sizing is true to the measurements listed for each product. The best way to figure out what size is best for you is to read over the sizing details displayed under the Product Information heading on individual product pages.

If you return items that qualify you for a Gift-With-Purchase (GWP) promotion, then you must also return the free gift. If you choose to keep the GWP, we will charge you for the listed value of the item when processing your return.
