I have been wearing Danner

From:  Age:  Gender:
I have been wearing Danner Boots for 40 years. Grouse Boots are Superior. Foresters are great. Will be reconditioning my last pair of MTN LIGHT II. These will out wear imports 4 to 6 times. You truly get what you pay for.

From:  Age:  Gender:
Love the boots. Solid, substantial, great support. I guess I have a high instep, because i have a hard time getting them on because the tongue restricts access. A loop at the rear top of the boot would probably give me the leverage I need to slide my feet in. Loosening laces all the way doesn't help. Once I get them on, they feel great and offer the Danner fit and security I was looking for. Pretty sure it's just a question of loosening tongue through break-in. No break-in required for me as far as comfort once boots are on. Very pricey, but justified because of recraftability,

I went thru 5 different

From:  Age:  Gender:
I went thru 5 different Danner models to finally hit the right one. I have wide, flat feet so all other lasts were too narrow. Very comfortable, zero regrets. I normally wear an 11.5 but sized down to 11 in EE width, added some Fatigue Fighter footbeds, now i have the perfect boot

my second pair of Danner boots...you have boots and you have Danner boots...while great to hear Jimmy and Bob found them excellent, then little ol'me drag them through Scandinavian winter and every year in September they are my trusted go-to footwear and the perfect companion to my Lederhosen, when going to the annual Oktoberfest in Munich... can think of no other boot I want to wear... if you see a guys in hosen at the Octoberfest and your call me out - beers on me!

I have wide feet. This

From:  Age:  Gender:
I have wide feet. This boot, I bought the EE width, is too narrow. When I first put it on, it feels too narrow. After I’ve had it on for a while it does seem to get more comfortable. But then the next time I wear them, the same “warm up” period is required before they really feel comfortable. I’m hoping that it stretches over time and eventually feels like a natural fit. Also, I worry that the stitching that runs down the center of the liner’s foot bed will wear out eventually without having a full insole to protect it. The construction detailing is beautiful. It looks great. But the fit isn’t great for my wide feet out of the box, and after a a couple months of wear, I’m still hoping that it will eventually break in and feel perfect as soon as I put them on. Only time will tell.

Over 20 Years and still kicking’!!

From:  Age:  Gender:
This was my second pair of Danners I bought in 2002 at a Danner store I came across in a Ginza Mall in Fukuoka, Japan. I have worn them often, at times, worked construction and other labor intensive jobs in them daily, from the hot arid desert climates in Vegas, to rainy Seattle, to the snow and ice of the Colorado Rockies. They are the greatest boots I have ever owned, and prompted me to buy a couple of other pairs of Danners, though these have been my regular daily boots most often over the past two decades. I treated them with polish and boot butter about once or twice a year. I was going to send them in for recrafting, but then noticed where some of the leather had finally begun to weather away, so I’ll just save em for working around our property and in the garden. When I first got em, I wore em out of the store and wore them nearly every day I was on Liberty from duty at my military Command in Japan. I’ve worn them several times in heavy downpours, typhoons, in blizzards dropping a couple of feet of snow, always returning home with dry comfy feet by the end of the day. I’ve hiked in em a couple of times, but am not any kind of highly skilled hiker, so there were mostly novice trails I was on. A more devout hiker might be able to wear these down after a few years or so, but for my everyday use, I feel I got more than my money’s worth to have worn them so often over the past 20 years. I bought my daughter her first pair this past Christmas and she loves em. Hopefully, if she takes care of them, she might be able to get 20 years from hers as well. Greatest boots ever!!
