Nice Canvas Jean even as factory 2nd

From: TX Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I think these are good. I ordered a size 4 to pull over other lighter jeans/layers as needed but are comfortable and not overly baggy worn alone. I typically wear a size 2 to 4 in US at height 5'-4", ~115 lbs or so and these seem pretty true to size. I am between sizes on length so ordered a regular but 30" inseam on "short" are too short. These will work by tucking cuffs under and securing with boots or hemming. Thanks! I feel like I can wear them at the office on business casual with a nice light weight FR Carhart button down shirt. Hope this review helps for your online purchasing choices.

Nice Canvas Jean

From: TX Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I like these jeans, good quality, they fit well and have feminine enough lines. I ordered a size 4 just in case I need to wear some long johns (silk or cotton underneath) or pull them over other light weight jeans. I am ~5'-4" @ 115lbs, slight frame. The make of the rise is medium below/right to belly button but can push to top of hips if preferred or can wear up to waist with a belt. I typically order sizes 2 or 4 but in the USA. I can layer them as mentioned but can be snugger but not too tight or I can wear relaxed without being completely baggy... perfect.

Like these

From: Alberta Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I’ve ordered these same pants every year for a long time! They last a long time usually get a year out of them! They are comfortable but fit is off seems the lower legs are quite large but by the thigh and but tend to be small! For my body type the original fit is better! Would be nice if you had the option cause I like the weight of this pant! I’m in a job field that I need durability! I’m trying the original Crawford pant to compare! If they last as long I may switch cause fit is much better! Don’t stop making pants for women! Keep making heavy weight pants as they last longer! Thanks!

Order up on size

From: Pittsburgh, PA Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I had heard that Carhartt women's flame resistant line tends to run small... in most Carhartt pants a 6 is comfortably loose and a 4 will fit but is a little too snug for most jobs. I ordered an 8 for these and find they fit similar to a 4 would for regular women's Carhartt clothing. That being said, I've still been wearing them to work on days when I don't anticipate the need to move around much, like if I'm just doing production welding all day, and they've held up well so far. I would be willing to buy another pair in the future and just make sure to fully accommodate for the sizing issue.

Too small if you have hips

From: , NY Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
Really disappointed in the sizing of these. I have to wear FR pants for field work and they have to be 2112 and these are the only ones that they make for women. I normally wear a size 8 in jeans but I sized up to a 10 so I would have more room and they are uncomfortably tight on my hips but very loose at the waist. For women with hips, these are really uncomfortable. I don’t think sizing up to a 12 would work because the legs and waist would be too baggy.

The main side pockets are a joke, and it's more important than people think

From: , AL Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
...and it was a dealbreaker. The material is great - I had been looking for work pants with minimal stretch (enough with the Spandex/elastane - not everyone wants stretch pants!) and I thought I'd found the perfect pair. But the pockets are way too small for work pants. Make them deeper! Why don't clothing manufacturers get that women like deep pants pockets, too? I could barely stuff my ordinary velcro wallet into a pocket. My whole hand doesn't even fit in it, and I am not a big person! Cell phones are big these days, and when we're out in the field, we're not carrying purses. The other pockets are fine for less important items, but they bump up against furniture and anything that contacts the legs. We need our wallets and phones within easy hand's reach. Manufacturers use material to create more pockets when they could just make the main side pockets larger. Do it, Carhartt, and millions of women will thank you for it.

Wonderful FR pants for a woman

From: Minneapolis, MN Age: 55-64 Gender: Female
These are my favorite pants. I'm required to wear FR daily and appreciate the functional features. It is great having pants that are snug where they need to be and loose in the right areas to avoid restricting movement. They are very durable - not to the level of a heavy jean material, but still very durable. Nothing on them has fallen apart over heavy use including the seams, hammer loops and Klein's pockets. The rise is appropriate for work - I want my belt and any tools to be carried right above my hips, not on or below. I hope this style will continue for many years (or at least until I retire :)

Old Man Jeans

From: Anchorage, AK Age: 45-54 Gender: Female
These jeans fit horribly! The hip fit is fine, but the waist is large and rise is high, which makes the waistband hit my ribcage, only to be cinched down with a belt so they don't fall off, so I look like an old man wearing pants that are too big. Sizing down doesn't help, either, and neither does trying the Original-Fit Rugged Flex Jeans - one has to have the dimensions of a model to wear those. Unfortunately, Carhartt is the only manufacturer of women's FRC that seem to understand that pockets are needed for pens, knife, phone, radio, etc., rather than just making some jeans that are FRC. Carhartt, please re-design these jeans to the 2008-2009 version!

From: , OH Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
These pants are my favorite by far! They run true to size. (I am 145lbs and got a size 6.) I am 5'7'' and got a short in length and they are perfect. Comfortable, easy to move in.

Overall great work pantsThe only downside is that the knees need to be reinforced. Right now I'm taking my old jeans in to the tailor to repair the knees on my newer jeans.

From: Alberta,  Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
They look really good, fit comfortably, and the pockets haven't worn through and I put my tools in them every day. The only downside is that the knees need to be reinforced. Right now I'm taking my old jeans in to the tailor to repair the knees on my newer jeans.
