Wolverine W05103 - Spencer Waterproof Mid-Cut Hiker

As noted above I do have positive reviews for those questions that were asked. However I do have a couple of negative reactions. 1 - The picture of the hiker does not match what I received, the tongue of the shoe only goes to the top of the shoe. This causes the tied laces to slip over the top of the tongue causing some discomfort. 2 - The interior of the shoe retains a strong chemical smell. I place Moso dehumidifiers in the shoes at night which do remove some of that odor temporarily.

These boots are very comfortable from day one. The problem is the cheap construction. First, the boots squeak with every step you take. I have had them for eight months, and the squeaking is just as bad as when they were new. Second, the boots are falling apart at the seams. I am having to send them to Wolverine to hopefully get them warrantied. In the mean time, I had to buy another pair of boots for work while these are being sent off. I went with Danner boots this time, and probably won't buy Wolverines ever again.

I have bought boots for work for over 20 years. These are the best for what I do "HVAC". They are indeed water proof and very light, very easy to get on and off. The boots do run maybe 1/4 or so bigger than most but this helps me because normally a size 8 is too big and a 7 1/2 is a tight fit until my feet stretch them these 7 1/2 fit great and are so comfortable and on top of that the price is cheaper than most also.

I ordered 10M the first go...blindly ....recommend trying them on first....9 1/2M fits perfect...dungarees.net customer service is the best... I sent them back...and within a week I had my replacement boots..I work both inside and out...I walk a lot....these boots are very comfortable....only time will tell how they hold up....A+ on customer service
