I have been wearing Wolverine dura shocks for about 30 years now. This is my 2nd set of Barkleys. After a brief break in period I prefer to wear these dura shock boots (steel toes) even for recreational walking. Very comfortable, better workout than lightweight athletic shoes. When cutting wood or moving furniture, the added ankle support and steel toes come in handy. The Barkley, and dura shocks in general are excellent for industrial concrete floors. There are probably other types of boot that would be better for walking through the woods when a heavier tread is needed.
