Best pair of boots!

These are by far the best winter boots I've had. They keep my feet warm but not sweaty. I'm able to adjust the back on the calf to support thicker pants. Decent grip on packed snow and ice. Plenty of toe room, not squished at all. Can wear thick socks or put hot packs on toes. Feels good to wear for long periods of time.

Checked with LaCrosse on size. Normally 7 1/2. Told to get 8's. Big and sloppy. Tried a 7. too sung, returned. Kept the 8's used 2 pairs of footbeds. Still a little big, but usable. 1/2 sizes would be great.

I like almost everything about

I like almost everything about the boots. They fit well, are very comfortable and warm, and seem to be very durable. However, I am disappointed in the top. There's no good way to grip the top to assist pulling the boot on and the expansion joint closer at the back gets in the way of your heel and wants to fold under. The adjustment strap is way too complicated and difficult to work with the boots on. If the expansion area were on the outside and a heavy pull tab added to the back, getting the boots on and off would be much easier. So would tucking in the pants cuffs. Thanks. Steve Pacha
