comfortable boots for upland hunting

I had an old pair of insulated Lacrosse boots that apparently the sole dry rotted off the bottom of the boot. Upon checking for warrantee, I was told my old boots were past the 1 year warranty but I could purchase a new pair at reduced price. I bought uninsulated boots for upland hunting instead of the heavy insulated boots for still hunting. I wore the new boots for a week in the office and then hunted quail over the weekend. After two and half miles walking behind the dogs, the new boots felt great on my feet. Hopefully the glue on the new boots endures longer than the glue on the old insulated boots. Time will tell.
