Good for chilly temps not freezing temps

I bought these with the hope that I could wear them for long days out in the field as a photographer in New England but unfortunately for me they are not up to task in the dead of winter. I even bought the very impressive Wallowa sock system to compliment the boots but still my feet still did not stay not warm enough in these boots. Otherwise they’re top notch, comfortable water proof boots and I will use them for our shoulder seasons with confidence, but if you’re looking for a cold weather boot in a part of the world that stays below freezing for months at a time, look elsewhere.

Regular Size not a Good Choice for Large Calves

I recently purchased the Alpha Evolution. I could only get it in a regular. If you have big calves dont order the regular. It has a flexible material at the back and top but that does not provide anything to grab on to force your foot in the boot. The boot is well made.

Only been on one hunt in these but so far Very comfortable and seem to be well made, I would say they are a little big on the fit. I wear a 12 normally but I could have went a size smaller in these,
