Light and fast

You can kneel, squat, and sit back on your ankles. This and lightweight. I really like these boots. These are for lightweight and not for busting through thorns. Very comfortable to hike in. Only Turkey hunted in them so far, but they will be my go to this fall until it is cold enough for my insulated boots

Very Comfortable Boots!

To preface my comments, I am normally very skeptical about buying a "newer version" of a proven product without being able to hear first-hand accounts of quality and comfort. I needed a new pair of rubber hunting boots and took a chance on ordering these because of the reputation and toughness of the Burly boots that I have owned in the past (3 or 4 pairs). I am very glad that I bought these! Straight out of the box, they have been worn on about 10-12 turkey hunts in March/April. They are light, waterproof, EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, and are not too hot on your feet. I would order them again tomorrow and am actually thinking about ordering a back-up pair in case I wear these out. They are easily the most comfortable rubber boots I have owned. Period. As far as sizing goes, they tend to run about 1/2 size small. I wear a 10. 5 in a work boot and ordered a size 11. It fits perfect. Overall, a GREAT PRODUCT from LaCrosse! P. S. I would LOVE to see these made with the same sole/footbed but in a snake proof version! They would be a great seller to us guys that like to hang out in the turkey woods.

You Can't Wear Them Out

I have a pair of burley's that I bought 40 years ago. They slogged through eastern North Carolina hunting deer, rabbits, and waterfowl . . . they walked the cornfields of South Dakota chasing pheasants . . . through Maryland after deer, geese, and ducks . . . in Alabama for deer and quail . . . the Eastern Shore of Virginia's barrier islands surf fishing . . . all this on top of duties around the farm . . . I fully believe that they have another 40 years left in them!
