The boots are great for both spring turkey hunts or fall bow hunts. I would pull them out and let them set in the sun for a week to get the smell burned off. They smell like rubber when you first pull them out but setting in the sun for a week pretty much takes care of that. Good boots for early and midseason hunts.

Very good boots that worked well over this last winter. Airbob soles are good for rough terrain and snow. The US size 11 was a perfect fit for my 10.5 wide feet. The only odd characteristic was the off-gassing smell from the rubber, especially in close spaces like driving in the truck or when the boots were in the back porch. The smell seems to dissipate with time and age.
