Keen 1021467 - Dover

Got these to replace my Asolo’s at work, I heard they run wide but my feet are wide af so I got the wides and these are the most comfortable boots for work I’ve ever had. My feet feel like they are on clouds. Not too heavy and the break in period was about a week but that’s because my right foot is shaped weird

When I initially put them on they did not feel comfortable. Snug in the toe box. So I took them off and planned on returning them. I have not had a new pair of boots in years because the Keens last so long. I remember my last pair felt broken in right out of the box. I recalled how Keens formed to my feet and got more comfortable with use so I gave these another try and wore them to work. It only took, maybe, a half day for the boots to feel good on my feet. They are bothering my ankles but that is because I have not worn boots for months. I am switching between my Keen shoes and new boots to acclimate my ankles.

Great comfort, great protection no doubt. Tough long lasting boot. A bit hot here in Texas though they don’t breathe well. Toe box area keen is the best.

I’ll give them a 4 star, boot is great just a bit of uncomfortable when i walk probably of the carbon fiber materials but very happy!

These boots were comfy right out of the box. I work for a food distributor so I'm wearing boots upwards of 14 hours a day. The comfort stayed consistent. I love the wide toe box as my pinky toe would rub on more narrow toe boxes. Only 4 stars because I have to see how the soles hold up on our ramps and all the different terrain types I walk on. So far so good though. I may be buying these again when the time comes.

I have been wearing Keen shoes and boots for a long time now. I usually purchase the American made Keen products. These Dover boots are my third pair. I appreciate the upgrades since when they first came out. This particular pair I like everything about them except for some reason they squeeze around the side on the top of my foot on both feet. I work 10-12 hours shifts and this is the only slight discomfort of the boots. I never had this issue before with previous pairs. I work in an environment where the first day I wear new boots is the same day they look like old boots. I will keep wearing them hopefully they will fully break in. I think they need little more time. Otherwise I really love them and they are so light and comfortable.

Have tried many work boots since 1990, so far these have been the best fitting, most comfortable and longest lasting boots for me. I’ve had other premium brands and even other Keen work boots. These are the best for me. I’m just replacing the insoles after a 18 months of use. Hope they never discontinue these cause I only like work boots with composite toes. Wish I could get a replacement set of Keen strings, I’m just funny like that. The strings have worn out at the side cinch point. My only gripe is that the right shoe lace is always slipping and getting longer on one side and I have to readjust it quite often. Excellent boot.
