Keen 1020057 - San Jose 6"

I purchased three pair of boots with the want to definitely keep two out of three. These are the only pair that I KNEW I was going to keep from initial put on my foot. Normally I have a bit of a comfort problem with the fit of a work boot due to my feet being just about pancake flat; with these...the width and shape of the front of the boot is perfect! I am up and down a ladder all work day and these have not given any trouble with that thus far! The boots are safety toe; aluminum and they are extremely light weight which is a great fit for the usage I currently get out of them.

Love the shoes had one 8 years ago and it’s still good except for the back part of the he shoe( the heel ) on right side was starting to talk had to put some glue in it

This is an outstanding piece of leather wear that is a perfect fit, true to size (10R), excellent double stitching, beautiful color scheme with gingerbread gum. Zero break-in period. Super comfy, superb sole. I am a dedicated Keen Footwear Fan, on all levels. These San Jose (Aluminum) Boots 🥾 are my new “Go To” everyday work wear!

I'm a diesel tech and wears these 8-10 hours a day and for 9 months now I feel qualified to write a review lol. They are fantastic even straight out of the box they fit very nicely. The nice fit only grew even greater as they molded to my feet and once that did happened I can't tell you how comfortable they become. I would recommend replacing the stock insoles and replace them with keen's k-20 insoles. I did that around the 3 month mark and it is unbelievable the improvement that made in an already very comfortable boot. The leather on the front part did wear away and the aluminum toe did start to show through but that is to be expected given how often I am crawling on my knees. No boot ever made would be able to withstand that. A simple solution was that I cut rubber toe guards and rubber cemented them into the front and it honestly looked as if it was made that way by keen and solved that problem. Honestly these people leaving bad reviews complaining how part of their boot is failing after 8 months need to get a reality check and get real. Of course your boots is going to start failing or showing wear after 8 months who do these people think they are? Keen- PLEASE make these with a carbon fiber toe!!!! I have to walk through a metal detector everyday and having a carbon fiber toe would make these the absolute perfect boot ever, please keen

These are the 1st. Flat Sole Boot I've ever gotten. They fit great out of the box and no break-in time needed. With a lot of Back & foot issues I've tried several different boots the last 10 years and although I've had these almost 2 weeks and they're really comfortable. I'll add on to this review at the end of summer with an up date. I do own a pair of Keen Leather Newports and I really like them too, had them for about 4 years.

I recently purchased a pair of the gingerbread and gum colorway of the san jose 6' work boot, and let me tell all i do not know where to start right out of the box they were literally broken in already. that was a first in my 29 years. they are lightweight offer A1 support and comfort and they are also stylish so I could def. rock in my going out attire!! Very Satisfied with these boots My first and FAR from last pair of Keens!!

Could use just a little more room for the bunion and outside of big toe. I feel like I'm pronating a bit in these boots: making the front insides of my feet have extra pressure. Nearly as good a fit as Keen Austin. There's plenty of room in the toe box, and the aluminum toe protectors are unnoticable. I actually preferred the fit and comfort of the Aluminum Toe to the Soft Toe! Note - I have had a lifelong struggle to find boots and shoes that fit well; I measure 9 1/2 EE U.S., but often have to go to 11 1/2 extra wide to get enough room for the ball of my foot and height for high arches and insteps. Most shoes seem to be designed for the narrower, lower, longer feet of the majority of people. Hoping these will give me years of service around my farm, but concerned with reports of premature stitching failure.
