Reaffirmation

From:  Age:  Gender:
I visited the Keen Garage to purchase a new pair of my absolute favorite boot, Mt. Vernon, and was informed that they were out of stock and were not going to continue making them. I was devastated! The sales person talked me into purchasing another style (I needed boots) but after two months wearing them I couldn’t bear it any longer. I found my Mt. Vernon’s online and can only hope that my encounter at the Garage was just a sales person’s ploy to add a sale.

Station Boots

From:  Age:  Gender:
I’m using these as station boots So far they look good and are comfortable. However, they are a bit wide. I want a wide toe-box shoe but this is even wider than that. I rather it be wide than narrow if needing to wear it for hours straight though Also, they were really squeaky when I first got them. Putting some cedar boot trees in them for a few days with the insoles and a few days without the insoles has completely removed the noise from normal walking on tile and rubber

Good looking work boot!

From:  Age:  Gender:
Best safety work boots I’ve owned. Super roomy, flexible, supportive and comfortable. Feet have room to breathe and move. Feels supremely protective for my work activities around the automotive shop, electrical facility or construction environment. Excellent construction and made in the USA is a plus in my opinion.

Great Boot!

From:  Age:  Gender:
Great Boot, very good fit and feel on foot. Very comfortable. Only thing I don’t like is the bottoms don’t hold up long. Had these boots for 8 months and now the bottoms gave out and now my feet are. soaked.

Mt Vernon Black

From:  Age:  Gender:
I have been purchasing Keen boots and shoes exclusively for about the past 5 years. The first pair I got was the Mount Vernon with the metatarsal guards. They were so wonderfully comfortable, lightweight, easy to clean, Etc that I knew that I would never go to any other brand again. I was a little disappointed that the stitching started pulling out before they were a year old, but as I said before they were so wonderful I ignored that issue. The following pairs of boots and shoes were all great, although not as good as the first pair, but I maintain my high regard and loyalty to Keen. I saw the Mount Vernon in black and really liked the style and look so I gave it a shot. Keep in mind I have always been an 11.5 D with every pair of Keen so far. I ordered a pair online, they arrived, looked fantastic, but felt like they were 10.5s or 11s. I thought that I got some random odd pair so I returned them, bought another pair from a different vendor and had the same issue. Returned those and ordered a set of 12s and they seem perfectly fine. The insoles however, I feel are garbage. I immediately put a pair of the Keen K-20 insoles into the Mount Vernon's and they are nearly wonderful again. If the laces were about 6 in shorter, fitment true to size and they came with insoles slightly better than the K-20 they would be the best ever!

Great work boots

From:  Age:  Gender:
I have purchased keen steel toe boots for the past 5 years because I am so rough on my feet and I can’t say enough about them. They keep my feet dry when it’s wet outside and they protect my feet from harm because I am so abusive to my footwear at work. I recommend that you try them.

A + boots

From:  Age:  Gender:
These boots are so light weight and durable, they check all the boxes for a boot that has to be worn for long hours daily. I highly recommend them.

Last long, Special lace hooks ,comfortabe boot.

From:  Age:  Gender:
If you like keen wide boots these fit comfortable and are protective. Great on ladders. Have had these about 2 years and they held up great . Real leather on foot area rubber toe top stays on and is durable. The best part is the Unique lace hooks on top 3 rows very durable no sharp edges and they have a lace hole as well as a lace hook so at the lowest hooks I lace through the holes then double lace back to same hooks and then I use just the hook part on top 2 rows . This gives me the fit I want but I can get them off fast. Why don't they use this style lace hooks on all boots? Soles last long time . The only thing Is I work on Hydraulic machinery an often have gallon of oil on smooth floor and these slip alot So I had to modify tread with an ocilating tool knife to create a few more slots in tread design. I am concidering getting a second pair for working in my Home Garage.
