These are much thicker and

These are much thicker and warmer than expected. As always, Danner makes a solid product and I'm sure these would hold up just as well to hiking and hunting like the Vital Hunt version I have. I am looking for a summer weight boot.

I love my Danner boots.

I love my Danner boots. I currently have six pairs, of varying ages, each with its own particular use: two for work (I'm a High School librarian, on my feet a lot, with parking lot duty, rain or shine); one for hiking in fair weather, one for hiking in rain or snow, one for work in the yard, and one for just bumming around. They range from ten years old to two days old, and they were all comfortable, sturdy, and waterproof from day one. I'll never go back to another brand.
