These are a nice boot. I just preferred how the leather not suede boot fit and felt better than this boot. The suede tended to bend more in a location I thought might become an issue with a long hike.

The mountain 600 are the greatest hiking boots on the planet. Out of the box comfortable, no break in required. I wear these boots everyday. I am a group exercise instructor, Personal Trainer and a dog trainer. I’m on my feet all day and the Mountain 600 are up for the challenge.
