One of the best wearing boots out there. I've had all sorts of hiking boots and I will say that the "break in" period on these are minimal compared to other leather grained hikers. Comparable to many of the synthetic hikers these days.
As far as quality goes. . . they are top notch. Comfort is on point. True to size.
I would definitely recommend ordering the leather care kit for these boots.

Loved them. Got them to hike the first couple sections of the PCT. Had no issues or complaints. Feet felt great. No blisters or hot spots. With the waterproofing they're a little warm, but honestly were plenty breathable. Would definitely recommend.

Absolute best hiking boot ever. I use them to work on the farm and normal hiking around the ozarks. I work in an office / warehouse all day then go home to the farm in the afternoon. These boots see all kinds of terrain. The only issue I have is the tongue when exposed to sharp objects, like barb wire, can tear and when welding / grinding, making sure no slag gets near the nylon. It would be great to see a leather tongue. I also understand the tongue helps your feet breath and that is great, these boots let enough air in for breathing while leaving your feet dry. I will be buying another pair after these wear out. By the way, durability seems well on these.

The most comfortable boots I've ever worn. This is my 2nd pair of Mountain 600's. The 1st pair I bought in black, and still wear them. At close to 10 years old they have seen better days.
I wanted to buy another pair of black but, Danner changed the black ones to suede, & I prefer full grain leather for this style of boot. The Rich Brown I received is not as dark as pictured on the website. They ARE super comfortable right out of the box like my first pair.
