Danner 62146 - Women's Mountain 600

These boots are the most comfortable hiking boot for work and outdoor recreation. I use them mostly for work in CA State Parks. Love them 💕 ❤️

Bought for wife. Says she's never felt a boot that slipped on so easily yet supported so sufficiently. Also extremely warm but not sweaty. Danner for the win!!!

These waterproof boots are comfortable and good looking. I didn’t give them 5 stars because I must have missed the warning about floor damage if they are worn inside.

These boots are GREAT! I’m 74 snd have narrow feet, weak ankles, pronating arches, and arthritis in the bones of my feet. These boots support and fit beautifully. Love them!!

Very comfortable and warm. Runs true to size. I purchased these to wear to work in a Colorado mountain town during the winter. The arctic grip sole is a plus as I’m on my feet all day indoors and outdoors. Great boots!!

So I have had Danners in my cart since the cool red and tan Jags went on super sale. But I didn't want just a boot that looked good, I wanted a hiker/dog walker/whatever life threw at me kind of boot. Was not sure about the black b/c my pets are all light colors but apart from the laces, I have not seen hair accumulate. When these first arrived, I was pretty am amazed at how light they were out of the box. But trying them on, they felt a full 1/2 size too small. Remembering most every pair of leather hikers I have had, they ALL give over time. So, with a little help from tennis balls (for several days) in the toe area, these were able to be stretched enough to - sans socks - fit perfectly. I never wear socks though, so if you do, might want to size up. I still think they run a half size small. But I'd rather shoes/boots be a tiny bit too small than too large and falling off my feet tripping me up. I have literally worn them every single morning walking the dog through wet grass and muck and even ridden my bike through rainy drizzle and stayed completely dry. As far as the Thinsulate liner, they do keep my feet warmer, but I have not noticed my feet feeling hot, maybe b/c my feet are always cold? The tread will easily stick to snow and ice, and these have been super supportive after I sprained my ankle (falling down steps - not wearing these). Only upgrade was adding Timberland waxed cotton laces. They stay put and are weather proof. Original laces were far too long and attracted cat hair and leaf litter. If only I could include the pic in this review. I lace these part way up unless on uneven surfaces which makes these easy to get on an off. Will be back for more of this boot but looking forward to the next year of adventures.

Super comfortable and supportive. There was no break in period. They were instantly comfortable and warm. Waterproof as well. We were in Yellowstone 1 day before the big flood in pouring rain and my feet stayed warm and dry.
