I have been searching for

From:  Age:  Gender:
I have been searching for a hiking shoe for many years. The Trail 2650 is lightweight and comfortable. The footbed is stable on rocks and uneven surfaces, and I was impressed with the grip. The reason I did not give them five stars is they make my feet look big (and they are not).

Wore these for the first

From:  Age:  Gender:
Wore these for the first time on a 8.2 mile hike. I felt the construction and traction were pretty good. I hoped the right ankle area would loosen up because I thought I’d get pain from it rubbing but I was pleasantly surprised at no pain during my entire hike. These didn’t require a breaking in, they were pretty comfy from the first time I put them on. I like the style and my only complaint is that they could be more feminine looking. I wish they came in purple or pink

Good for neuroma

From:  Age:  Gender:
The Rock Ridge is true to size. The break-in period was a few hours. There is plenty of room in the toe box and forefoot areas for inserting your own insoles (I have narrow feet, and compared to other shoes, these are true to size for a med width). I took out the Danner insoles and inserted sorbothane insoles. I have a neuroma, and these shoes distribute the weight evenly (and ever so slightly back towards the heel) which takes the pressure off the forefoot area. The medium width doesn't squish the neuroma (anyone who has the same problem will understand that, with some shoes loosening the laces doesn't help much, the Rock Ridge is not one of those shoes). I love these.
