These are the best boots I’ve ever had. This is my second pair. The first last about 5 years before I decided to get a new pair mainly because they were starting to look a little beat up. They still felt great! Never a pinching, rubbing or pain.

Keep your feet dry and warm. Snow in Ukraine is no joke and it’s even worse when it’s muddy. 10/10 will buy again if needed. Love danner and will always buy them!!!

Buying shoes for my son with a size 16 foot is a challenge. Danner has long been my USA made go to, and they delivered with this boot. He has already used them extensively for hiking and the soles demonstrate excellent grip in rugged terrain. He's also happy with knowing they are waterproof.

So boots are tough, but I went to the Rivot series around 2009 for my enlistment in the infantry and deployment to the mountains of AFG, plus training in Colorado S.C, Benning, and home at Fort Drum so pretty extreme. My feet are flat and wide so I was limited to begin with. The Rivots have always been my boot and these are just as good as they’ve been with some minor changes here and there, like the tongue doesn’t tuck in like the old Rivot TFX but you can make that work, and the insulation isn’t as thick but that’s ok cause it’s more multi climate, what I do like is that the rubber sole has been upgraded, it’s not as slippery in cold and wet, the old ones were super slippery once that sole hardened, these less so. The laces aren’t as good as the old school ones that were like a soft 550 cord those were awesome these are basic but tough, and there’s no loop on the back to push a foot in anymore either (a feature I liked) but these are solid and very expensive but I do a pair once every 5 years and I beat the snot out of mine and it’s worth it. Made in USA, and worth every dollar really, I just hope they don’t ever change that in the front office. Great boot
