These boots are amazing. I have been buying theses boots for 10 years. Third pare. I work 10 hour days, on cement floors. My feet feel great at the end of the day. They are so light weight. Like a tennis shoes.

This is my second pair

This is my second pair of Tachyons. I bought my first pair about 3 years ago (estimate 1500-2000 miles of pavement/trail, wet/dry) and they're still quite usable despite stains/scuffs. Old and new pairs are quite comfortable, cool, and well-finished. They are the lightest boots I've ever seen (lighter than most sneakers in fact) yet the soles offer adequate cushion and traction and are surprisingly durable. They are quiet - no clopping or squeeking on any surface. If you have weak ankles and are looking for support look elsewhere. Otherwise I would recommend these boots without qualification.

I’ve run Danner for quite

I’ve run Danner for quite some time now and this boot has once again sold me on the idea of returning a customer in the future. These boots feel great right out of the box and “broke in” within one or two shifts. High quality, lightweight and breathable. These are only slightly heavier than my Brooks running shoes. Highly recommend to anyone in LE looking for a running shoe type boot.

Incredible boots. Excellent for hot weather

I love the boots! They handled extremely well going up through miles slot canyons in Escalante. Not much for arch support, but easily resolved with a good insole. Fit was is true to size.

Boots are super comfortable. I like a tight and narrow boot. There's a seem across the pinky toe that gets a little tight sometimes, but otherwise very comfortable. Took about 4-5 12 hour shifts to get fully broken in, so give them some time. The top of the boot is super comfortable. Doesn't get tight like some boots will if the top eyelet is cinched down.
