Good feel. I did not have to break them in. Felt good on my first hike. Sole not as thick as my insulated Danner hunting boots. I like the thicker cushier sole but that is merely preference. Tried Keen hiking boots 1st and my feet hurt. Worth the money. I wear a women’s 10 and bought these in a men’s 9

Very good fit. Top third of tongue should be some wider to accommodate my larger lower leg calf. I find this in 'some' other brands too. Very nice design, I work in the woods where there are a lot of osage orange branch spike thorns, good soles for that. The arch support is there, a gotta have for me. thank you
