Seems to be a good boot. Comfortable to wear and gives good support to my ankles. Have been wearing the 452 boot for quite a number of years and this boot seems to be for comfortable and flexible than the 452.

Very stable, excellent grip on

Very stable, excellent grip on numerous surface types (surprised and pleased), light weight, water proof, plus... tread cleans/expels mud and clay efficiently. Highly recommended. I’ve been wearing dancer foresters for decades, started branching out in recent years, (Jack II, and Jack III, And Jag... along with these, have yet to be disappointed let alone under appreciative) complete admiration for Danner Co.

Loudest Boots Ever

I ordered these boots in steel gray, size 13 EE. The sizing, fit, comfort, and durability were all fantastic. The boots are sturdy, durable, and nice and light. I even like the odd moon boot styling of the model that really comes across more in person than in online photos. The only drawback was that when I first donned these boots they were obnoxiously and loudly squeaky. Every step and slightest movement elicited ridiculously, comedically loud, creaks and squeaks from where the tongue overlapped with the side flaps of the boots. The noise was maddening. There was no sneaking up on unwary wildlife in those things. In short order, I roughed up the surfaces of the tongue and side flaps with coarse sandpaper. After a few bouts with the sandpaper and some trial and error, I eventually eliminated all squeaking. Ever since they've become one of my favorite pairs of light hikers ever. That said, for the price, I shouldn't have had to undertake such an arts and crafts project. Good boots, though.

Amazing boots as with all

Amazing boots as with all my Danner’s. Highly recommended! Danner is the only boot that I wear. Very comfortable and long lasting boot. These are waterproof and have never leaked on me. I wear them for work everyday.

I’ve had these boots for over a month. I thought they would stop squeaking by now. The tongues rub against the inside and squeak with every step. It’s super annoying!

Overall a decent boot ..

Overall a decent boot .. the smooth leather of the tongue squeaks when walking .. after 2 weeks of heavy use they still squeak.. kind of annoying! After a 15 hour work day they are not as comfortable as the Radical I usually buy ..
