Very good overall. I am a size 13 wide. And honestly, they are spot on. I had some hesitations on the money, however, after wearing them for a month now, I am glad I purchased them. Maybe down the road, the company can make them in steel or composite toe.

This is my 3rd pair of danner lights. I love them for year round daily wear. I have tried other brands and nothing holds up the same way. The only thing I would ask for Danner to do differently would be to use their leather heel and toe cups instead of the plastic. I have found that after rebuilds that the leather cups hold up better. Also I have always wanted a hot weather option of the lights with the vents that danner puts on the USMC Rats, as well as the quick lace eyelets.

I've used this boot 4 or 5 times this year, hog hunting in Louisiana. There is a lot to like about this boot. It is comfortable and agile. I have not had the opportunity to test its snake bite protection, though it does feel thick and strong like it would protect. I'd like for the water proofing to extend higher on the boot. As is, its only water proof to where the tongue splits - about the 4th eyelet down from the top.

So far so good first

So far so good first day I got to wear these boot opening day Alabama turkey, only thing wish boot didn’t have solid lace eye and lace was longer but over I walked 3-4 miles today
