I've had three pairs of

I've had three pairs of these over the years, the original pair is nearly a decade old and still holding strong. They are the example of what every boot should be, American made, strong, sturdy, comfortable, resilient, and time-tested. They run true to spec, I've burnt through issued boots quicker on fast ropes, these hold up to mountain patrolling, water, jumping, the whole nine. I hope Danner keeps them around for years to come.

As a landscaper I’m on my feet a lot and so far these have been very supportive and comfortable with very little break in time needed. The do fit narrow, which is great for me but be aware.

3 Years Later

I have had these boots for three years in the bush, on the water, over the meadow and through the woods. They have never failed me and have always been comfortable. That is, until the materials started to wear out and they were no longer waterproof without some UV Resin. I have punished these boots and they lasted for three amazing years. I really wish they could be re-crafted..

We're them in Afghanistan (the Mil version) wore them in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest wear them now in the deserts of Arizona (winter months obviously) best boots by far, EVER! I'm 48 this year and will probably be the last mountain tactical boot I'll buy. I would buy a pair for my son but he's constantly growing he's only 14 but I feel one day he'll thank me for getting him these if he decides to serve or not
