I have worn my pair of jags to college everyday during fall and winter. They let me walk around our slightly hilly campus comfortably. They handle different surfaces under the wet weather perfectly; I haven't felt slippery on anything yet, no matter indoors or outdoors. I also wore them for short hiking trips within city limits and they worked great for the said purpose. I always pair them with DT boot socks which keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable.
