My husband says without a side zip or a pull tab they are more difficult to put on. He wishes Danner would put pull tabs on their boots.

Quite stiffer than what I

Quite stiffer than what I expected. Breaking in nicely. The way the shoe laces fall makes it hard to tighten up. The fit is true. Ask me again in about a year to see how they really hod up

These have become my everyday

These have become my everyday boots! I love the combination of Lightweight, cushioned, and durable. They're ideal for standing on my feet all day as a barber. Being all black with medium shine also means they can go with just about anything. They also work well as a stage manager when I need to be quiet backstage. The only thing I would suggest would be to not tie them too tightly; let the cushion work its magic!

Best work boot I’ve ever

Best work boot I’ve ever owned. This is my 3rd pair. The soles never wear out. The only reason I bought this last pair was because they were on sale, but honestly my first and second pair are still good. I just like the look of a brand new boot. If you need a beefy boot with a sole that is not flimsy, these are the ones.

Excellent quality, this six inch

Excellent quality, this six inch version is a replacement for my old eight inch Striker bolt boots. The sole is new and improved, the comfort and durability is very good. My original pair were size eight and the new six inch version required an eight and a half for a comfortable fit. I normally wear an eight so not sure if its my feet or if the boot ran small. Other than that I am very happy. Customer service is excellent, would highly recommend.

Got these on sale at

Got these on sale at the end of winter, fit exactly how I wanted, could use a loop on the back for pulling your foot in but other than that the quality was great and offers enough mobility to wear day to day.
