I work full time as a Paramedic Firefighter and RN, am on concrete floors, out on and off trails in the course of my job. I bought my first pair 18 years ago, second pain 10 years later and am just into my third pair. I use to have knee hip and ankle pain until I got into these. They are recraftable boot greatly extending the life of the boot and you may pay up front but in the long run you will spend less for a boot that can take a beating smile and ask for more. When they get reconditioned almost like new right out of the box. I no longer have any of the knee hip or ankle pain am in these boots almost every day. These are the most comfortable boot I have ever wore for work in over 30 years of working in the field. Before I was going through boots about every 6 to 9 months at a 150.00 to 200.00 a pair. The Danner Acadia not so much with them it is how many years. The only thing wish they would add a toe protector, if I have any fault in them.

This will be my 3rd or 4th pair. I get about 7 years of everyday use out of them. Order a half size bigger then your foot measures for and and extra wide. They are rough getting broke in, but once they are everything is fine. Quality American made boot is money well spent.

Currently have two pairs of acadias with the NMT. The oldest of the two I’ve had for almost 3 years and have held up well. I recently purchased my second set to place in service when I send the first out for new soles. My only complaint is that the center of the boots are not flat so it wears down faster that everything else. Considering I have worn them for 24 hours each work day they’ve held up well. Work supplies me with a new pair of boots each year but id rather spend my own money on these any day.
