I gave 4 stars because I have other danner boots that wear better but cost more too. These boots break in nice, first day I wore them 15 hours with no problems Can’t beat danner boots they never disappoint!! Solid work boot.

I love these boots ,

I love these boots , black leather look & feel amazing. The breaking in stage is like maybe a day and it’s not bad at all just slight discomfort at least for me, not like most boots kill your feet for maybe a week or so danner is hands-down the best boot I have had. They are are very light weight & hold up to everyday work challenges ... for me these boots get a work out every day for a work on a railroad, a lot of uneven surfaces going up and down hills dealing with rocks mud etc.
