Featuring a patent pending Vertical Insertion Arrestor (VIA) technology insert which provides abrasion resistance and superior control in fast roping applications, the DFA is a vertical assault weapon.

  • Durable, low oil nubuck leather upper
  • 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® liner is engineered to keep your feet dry and comfortable - even in extreme conditions
  • Rugged 1000 Denier nylon upper for lightweight comfort and mobility

I have only worn these

I have only worn these boots for a short period of time. They are not quite as wide but still fit well. There is more room in the toe area. I am able to use full foot inserts instead of the half inserts. The boots are well padded and comfortable. I expect them to last due to my prior experience with Danner's.
