These were a present for my son. He is very happy with these boots especially the sole. Apparently your company discontinued his favorite boot but he says these are very close. The only stated that they are stiffer than the other boot and he is hoping the soften up with wearing them. Please don't discontinue these.

The boot in general is nice. The quarry wedge honestly eclipsed this boot but for some reason was discontinued. You’ll have to rearrange the shoe insert putting it on a few times until it molds onto your foot properly
. Same goes for the tongue, if you want it to look nice as it breaks in you’ll have to guide the bends as you lace up. Price is kinda high and would only buy on Black Friday or on sale.

As usual Danner delivers! Currently, I own several pairs of Danner boots for work, hunting, hiking and casual. This pair has been the only pair to require a break-in period. This may be a reflection of the construction of the boot and the layered leather used. Outside of that, the Power Foreman boots are well worth the investment.

I always order wide boots. These feel like regular. I’m dealing with it and bought a stretcher to try and make them wider. I’d send them back but you’ve been out of my size for months and I can’t wait anymore.

They seem like great boots, but they won’t work for me.
The shielded toe is the same size on wide sizes as it is for a non wide boot. I was unable to fit my toes in the boot. If you ever make a wide toe safety boot call me, I’d like to try them.

Quality boots. Well made. Thick full grain leather is as good as I've ever seen.
These Danner boots are not insulated but I'm a little worried about summer wear. They are wide and thick and act like a good winter work boot and might be too warm for summer.
They are so much bigger and take up more space in the truck when driving it took some getting used too. Truth is, might be more boot than I want for everyday work. I work indoors and outdoors about equal, in all weather, maintenance. The pictures are both my boots for compare, both safety toe and both waterproof insulation only. But the size difference is immediately noticeable.
