Danner 14731 - IronSoft 6" Brown

I'm a general building contractor in PA, so I do everything from digging foundations to roofing and everything in between including finish carpentry in all four seasons. My last seven pairs of work boots were Bullruns (I get about 6 months out of them until the leather wears out) and I use the insulated Quarry when its really nasty. I think these boots fit great, comfortable but I don't know why they have a Gortex liner. My feet are so hot and sweaty wearing them, I would love to see these made without the liner.

I wore these boots for four years of work and play on a wilderness trail crew, accumulating an estimated 1200 comfortable miles on them. Until their dying days, these boots looked great, felt incredible, and did the job, day in and day out. It sounds ridiculous, but I put more miles on these boots than I put on the last car I owned. Almost shed a tear when I had to throw them out.

Overall the quality of the boots that's good the fairly comfortable for standing my only complaint is they are so narrow I got the wide my feet are on the borderline of being wide so I generally order the wide so I have more room cuz after 14 hours on your feet they swell a little bit but these I put them on and immediately there too tight I'd rather have another pair of Crafter or quarry or Workman or viscous
