Ordered these before a fishing and hiking trip to the sierra mountains. The boots preformed well. They do require a break in period but fit well right out of the box. The boots are definitely green in color and I would suggest applying water repellent to maintain the leather. Great purchase and these boots should last me years.

These boots are something I thought of years ago but did not exist. Danners, moc toe with gripped sole, high ankle and waterproof. I genuinely have tested these boots and they are awesome. My one wish is that they had deeper tread because they are still a little slippery in wet conditions.

I like the boots. The size 10.5 allows me to wear a thick sock If I want to. The boot is stout and supportive and fits my foot perfectly. We know Nubuck leather scuffs easily, but this Danner version is very good quality and cleans up easily with a stiff, nylon bristle brush.
