What a great solid shoe for hiking! Heel is secure, toe box is sturdy and roomy but I have a slender foot (11). The shoe repels dirt and wipes clean easily. I really appreciate that the shoelaces fit the eyelet number without so much extra lace.

This shoe is the first my daughter found that did not leave her feet and back sore after working all day on her feet. She has no pain after a long day of work anymore, and her feet and toes are protected from hazards. Danner never fails the feet!

Fits well and true to size and excellent quality. 4 stars because there is not enough cushion in the heal for long distances. The treads on these seem like they would be able to withstand miles on cobblestones or rough terrain.

I think it was a great shoe, but I had to return it because there was a steel toe in it and I didn't want the steel toe in it. I don't have a job occupation where I need a steel toe anyway. I was pleased with the sale, transaction and return and refund process. Even though it didn't work out for me, I can state it was a good quality shoe.
