saved my foot!

I do a lot of odd physical labor jobs and these boots saved me from losing half of my foot in an accident with a lawn mower. The boot that got caught is deffinitely ruined but i personally got away with just some bruised up potentially broken toes. NOT EVEN A CUT!! if i had any complaint at all its that the heels would chafe and blister if i was doing a lot of moving around in them (possibly because i wear the 7.5 size. over all though??? these things withstood a running lawnmower, had the composite toecap ripped out and didnt see a drop of blood. HIGHLY reccomend. I love cat shoes and have sworn by them as my work shoes for 5+ years. The price is well worth their durability and quality especially after something like that.

Favorite yet

Only had about a month but a month of very nasty and rough jobsites. I have always worn cats, these have been my favorite yet. Very durable, lightweight, comfortable boot.

Keeps the mud splash away

On my third pair now in 5 years. Was residential trash man now cement hauler. I’m always walking in the landfills or in mid or cement on the ground. If you look close where the sole meets the boot, it has a ridge that extends out. Not sure if this was intended but it acts as a mud guard to disperse the mud out and away from you instead of up and on your pants. Plus they’re light, comfortable and long lasting. About to buy a new pie soon.

Tried out a Different series of boots

I have owned several CAT boots in the past, the previous pair were the CAT Excavator series I purchased about a Year and a half ago, super happy with those. The CAT Hauler boots I recently purchased were a recommended boot similar so I thought I would give them a shot. Can't say I've been really impressed and I am wishing I had gone with the CAT Excavators again. The boots fit well. They were comfortable when I first put them on but by the end of my shift I was ready to have em off. They leave several hot spots on the bottom of my foot. CAT Excavators; I could were them all day long! There were nights I was taking em off after 14-16 hours. I used to were them as my casual wear boots to non-work events. The comfort hasn't improved with time in service. I'm going to try an insert and see if I can get past the comfort issue. CAT Haulers have a similar exterior build and sole to the previous boots but the soles are already significantly worn and I haven't had them long yet at all. The rest of the boot appears to be holding up so far though. Don't think they will make it a year and a half however. I may have to get me a bargain brand pair to get me by until I can save up for another pair of the Excavators.
