Decent low top workboot (not a flexible sneaker)

Been using for 2 months and I'm okay with them. These are less sneaker and more like a light low top workboot. I was hoping for a little less structure so that my foot could move better but that's not going to be the case. It's decent though. Pretty true to size, maybe a bit roomier than planned because I got wide.

Reg size is narrow

These work shoes were actually fairly decent. Although they width The regular shoe was very, very tiny, my feet could barely fit inside, I ended up returning the regular size shoe and ordering a wider shoe and I’m very pleased with the way they fit. Instant part is that the wider Shoe is not that much wider, but it is just significantly bigger to make it much more comfortable.

Good Shoes

Soft toe version would be great. My previous shoes were just that. For me normally ( my size12.5 D) 13 always works. Not for this one. Snug and narrow. Had to exchange for a14W to get my size 13D normal fit. Exchange process is good. The FedEx shipping choice CAT uses is slow. Mine shipped CA to TN (twice) that took painfully long. I was wrong in thinking CAT might at least have 2 day shipping.

Caterpillar safety toe work shoes

I've worn these specific shoes for work for probably the last 15 or so years. I haven't found anything more comfortable and comfort is king on a construction site when you're putting in +15K steps or more daily. Funny as it sounds the shoes last around 1 year, I feel like the wear and tear could be addressed, but overall comfort for me is paramount. I use composite vs steel toe

A Solid Work Shoe

The soft toe version was great. I needed to replace that shoe and was disappointed that it was not offered. I selected the composite toe (my size 12.5 US), and found a 13 to be narrow and snug at the toe in a thin sock. Had to return for a 14W US. It fit much better and accommodated a heavy sock. So far, so good after one shift of wear. So overall the sizing runs small and narrow.The return process is easy but be aware the turn around is quite a few days. Especially if you live far from the ship point. The level of FedEx shipping CAT uses is quite slow.

Durable and comfortable.

I bought the soft toe version of the Cat Argon back in 2018 and I'm still wearing them. Except for normal wear and tear, the shoes still look and feel great. I wear them as daily casual shoes and wear them when hiking as they are very comfortable. It is unfortunate that the soft toe version has been discontinued. I would buy the soft toe version again if it was still available. I have no use for the composite toe version of the Argon.

The safety, tennis shoes that I just ordered or the first time ever tried them out which is something they are amazing. Actually comfortable and I feel like I can work around them better than wearing the whole entire boot for me right now they are excellent and they’re holding up very well.
