these shorts are extremely comfortable and the quality you can expect from Carhartt. The drawstring waist is an added plus to the comfortable fit. These shorts fall nicely above the knees for us mature ladies and gives a nice attractive long line. Washes well too. Highly recommended.

the perfect shorts for women

I too love these shorts. Everything about them is outstanding - the perfect fit; the comfort; the length; the adjustable drawstring waist; the fabric; and the look. I purchased several duplicate pairs of these shorts and can't say enough good things about them. They fit true to size, but if you are between sizes, order the smaller size. They also wash well, like all Carhartt clothes. I sincerely hope Carhartt decides to bring these drawstring shorts back next year and also in more colors. They are my favorite shorts and so comfy and flattering too.

These shorts are very comfy and I like the length a lot. They are a nice weight also. Two minor criticisms - the waist is a little big compared to the hips, but the drawstring makes up for that - and the strings at the bottom of the leg sometimes tickle my legs.
