perfect in the cold

From: Pocatello, ID Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I live in these twelve hours a day four days a week in the winter. The ambient temp is often sub zero for two to three months on end, and the temp in my facility is often not much more than that. These bibs have kept me warm in 40mph winter blizzards, ensuring that the facility keeps running and other workers are safe. I use them so much I purchased a second pair so I can alternate them on a daily basis ensuring I always have a dry pair. Perfect for extreme conditions

From: Greenville, OH Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I work as a grain/commodity loader at an ethanol plant in Indiana. Im outside all day long repairing grain bins and loading livestock feed. I used to freeze all day in a pair of cheap berne bibs that didnt fit right. My company finally decided to buy everyone a set of carhartt extremes bibs...wow what a difference. It blocks the wind very well. They are well insulated. I bought the coat to match. I still get cold after several hours but im alot more comfortable in these then the old ones. They are very stiff at first but soften up after wearing for a few weeks. Also the zippers are very well made and have held up very well. Thanks carhartt for once again making a high quality product for the hard working American

One of the best insulated coveralls with tougher fabric

From: Tennessee Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I own a pair of carhartt R38 version of insulated coveralls and they are awesome. So I wanted to find a pair of these coveralls but sadly carhartt stopped making the R33 version and came out with a new version that I didn't want. Dungarees was the only place that had these and in my size 40x34 (6'4", 250lbs) and it was a factory 2nd. Figured I would take a chance and ordered a pair and the only defect I think that could possibly make this a factory 2nd was a small place in the inside seam were the thread sewn was just slightly off. But this was nothing that would compromise the durability and plus it took me 20min to find it with a flashlight looking the entire bib over in depth. All buttons and zippers (made of metal and no plastic) worked smooth and fine, no holes or misplaced seams or pockets. Tried them on several times and the sizing was just as perfect as my R38's . All seams are triple stitched inside and out. You would have to be very hard on clothing to tear these up. The insulation on these are more than twice as thick as the R38's and the Cordura outer fabric is just as tough and rugged feeling as you would expect. Obviously no problem keeping you warm too plus has enough room in the chest in back to wear a hoodie underneath these and be able to squat and kneel down with no unreasonable tightness or pinching fabric. Very mobile for the amount of thick insulation these have.

Extremes

From:  Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
I think that these are by far one of the best products ever made. They are warm and dry. I hunt and when your sitting in the woods all day and that sudden snow blows in you want to be warm and dry at the end of the day these are the bibs for the job. I love plowing snow on the four wheeler too and when you get off and have had snow blowing back in your face all day these just shake off the water and keep on going.

I have been wearing insulated carharts for over 25 years, both coveralls and bibs. They wear like iron, and are extremely warm, fit is good. Waist high leg zippers make ease of putting them on and off with heavy work boots a cinch. However you lost 5 stars with me because you cheapened the hardware, zips, strap clips. Sacrificed quality to save a buck.

WINTER MUST HAVE

From: Allentown, PA Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
By far the most important piece of work wear I own. I got mine on the clearance rack @ a store about 5 years ago. They stay in the truck all winter long. Unless it's raining or you're dealing with slushy conditions, they will keep you dry and warm. Carhartt quality when discussing durability. I'll be getting myself another pair once mine finally decide to be done. Also, size chart in my opinion is on point.
