I finished concrete most of my life. I am now 63 and I need something so I can get on my knees there pretty shot. I hate go get knee pads for every little thing I do that I have to get on my knees for. These are great when I working around the house I always wear Bibs and these work great I have them in every pair I own.

knee pad inserts fit perfectly inside Carhartts

Usually I cut a few extra threads from the bottom of the Carhartt knee pad pockets to facilitate the insertion of these foam knee pads. The knee pad stuffing process require that you roll them up tightly, very carefully making sure that they open up inside the pocket with the natural arc of the knee pad in the proper direction. I wash my Carhartts every 1 to 3 weeks, but never put them in the dryer because they will shrink and they are very heavy when wet and noisy clanky in the dryer. It's not worth damaging my dryer when these air dry in a few days. I always have extra Carhartts clean and ready to go... PS. Stone washed Carhartts are the only way to go, (softer)...

I really like this system. They're always there when you need them, there is no binding on the back of your legs, they don't roll off to the side,etc.etc.
But the fabric of my carharts wear out imediately over them. I would like to see a pair of carharts with something more durable for their double knees.

I have been using these knee pads for several years. I showed them to a friend and he's purchased several pair. Their biggest plus for us is the fact that they don't have a strap that goes behind your knee and cuts off the circulation. No pain, just protection.

Great when needed better than any strap on knee pads. When not in the need for them they are a bit of a pain to get in and out when used occasionally. Definitely saves your knees..............

Ordered a pair off these thin looking knee pads to test against the Velcro/hard plastic ones I've been wearing for years. You know the ones after a while cut the circulation off in your legs. These skinny looking pads were remarkably comfortable and protected my knees. Okay I was sold on the protection part, but what about washing the bibs with the pads inside. I've washed them several times now with no problems. just re-adjust them and keep on going. I will comment later if these wear out before the bibs.
