Carhartt's Soft Shell jacket has a durable water-repellent finish, great for those days when pop-up showers are in the forecast. The 8.5 ounce polyester/spandex blended ripstop is lightweight yet durable enough for a day at work or at play.

Greatest jacket

Pros: I’ve had this army green colored jacket for almost 8 years and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t new. I live in Wyoming so my coat is worn more than just winter months. I’ve chores, cleaned, worked animals, misc and this coat has held up tremendously through it all. It is tough tough tough! Cons: I get a lot of static from the liner, so it tears my hair up if I don’t put it in a ponytail. Carhartt discontinued it and my husband wants one!!

Bring this Jacket BACK!

This hooded jacket should be a mainstay on the Carhartt product list. Its light, warm and very useful. I have it in a bright yellow colour that I use for construction and mining work and it has held up well with heavy crane lifts, chains and dirt. A real pity that it isn't available any more. Bring it back guys!

Perfect comfortable jacket.

This jacket is really nice and comfortable and keeps you at the right temp. Woarn it a lot since I got it. Keeps you dry in the rain. Got mud all over it and washed it and the jacket cleaned up very nicely. Love it and recommend it to everyone.

Not exactly what the product description states but still an excellent jacket.

There are a few lines in the product description that this item does not have. The hand warmer pockets do not have a zipper, there is no interior pocket (fine by me). Other than that this an excellent soft shell jacket. The quality is very good. I have worn it through two bad rainstorms and I can attest to its water repellent qualities. I bought it in Army green. The only thing I would change on this jacket is the addition of hook and loop cuff closures, the cuffs tend to get in the way and I got some grease on them while I was doing some work on my truck. *(Note: the stains came right out.)
