"Hello!​We are writing to you from a small, remote village in the steppes of Ukraine, near the frontline. Most of us are elderly and use old push-button phones, so we are sending this message through Baba Katya’s nephew, who is the only one with a smartphone and internet.​We want to express our deepest gratitude to your team for the amazing boots!​Because our village is right near the frontline, drones fly overhead and bomb everything that moves. We don't have a local store, and buying durable footwear is impossible here. Our old Chinese slippers fell apart to shreds after just one season, and it was getting freezing cold.​Only a couple of cows are left in the village, and we herd them by turns since most people had to evacuate because of the war. Good, sturdy footwear is an absolute lifesaver for our herdsmen. (Tragically, our previous herdsman stepped on a landmine and lost his foot).​These boots are quite expensive for us, and we are mostly pensioners. Getting our pensions is a huge risk because drones target cars and carts. But recently, a drone killed one of our cows; we sold the meat to the military, and with that money, we asked Baba Katya's nephew to order your boots.​They turned out to be simply fantastic! Now our herdsmen take turns wearing them out to the pasture.​A huge, heartfelt thank you to your entire team from all of us in the village!"
