Not the breezy summer boots I hoped for, but those might not exist??

I wanted to replace my worn-to-death Red Wings with something that didn??t feel like wearing massive Frankenstein shoes, and were more appropriate for summer weather. I got some Thorogoods because I try to buy union whenever possible, but the ones I got were just never comfortable. These are like wearing safety sneakers. I was hoping they??d make my feet sweat less than traditional work boots, but I guess being both waterproof and actually breathable is a stretch. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, easy to lace up, affordable, seem reasonably rugged so far (but time will tell) Cons: Not as breathable as I??d hoped, not USA-made, not union-made

So far pretty good

Only wore a couple of times since I got them, tongue is the only flaw so far, no loop to hold them from sliding toward the outside of my foot. Great room for your foot comfortable all day on your feet. Can't wait till they break in some and see how they last. I will update as time permits.
