I have the belt for a very long time. The screws did come loose once, so I put loctite on them and no lore issues. I have been trying to find another in my size with no luck.

Buckle Broke after 2 months

Well looks like I'm not the only person who has an issue with the product quality. I like the belt but having the buckle break after just a short time was FRUSTRATING especially considering that the belt cost $44 US dollars. Carhart needs to honor the replacement.

Purchased belt for the functionality. Screws that hold the buckle on the belt came out. Hard to believe. I bought it because of the brand name. I’m very disappointed.

Buckle for looks

Bought this belt about two months ago, the leather has been good but the buckle, who ever designed it has never used it , with in first month the little screws came out , put them back in two weeks later the screws pulled out of the leather I recut the leather and put back together, now the little screw that hold the belt together broke, it need complete buckle will look for a new belt again

Not what I expected

I really like the Carhart brand, I have never been disappointed until now. The two little screws that hold the buckle to the belt started coming out in the first week and when I walk the buckle makes a squeaking sound. The buckle must be made with Nickel so now I have a $40 piece of wall art in my closet. The leather part of the belt stands to the quality I was expecting, I’m now looking at getting a new buckle for the belt. .

Buckle broke in 30 days.

Belt is nice quality leather and while the buckle itself worked well in reversing the belt the inner workings that do this came apart. Pin holding buckle together utilizes a twist in to remain fastened, very poorly designed. Will see how Carhartt does on customer service. Belt is too expensive to have this happen in about a months use.
