I was having the same problem as everyone here...It's slips. When threaded through the buckle correctly (teeth first) it just doesn't work. BUT when you turn the belt inside out so to say and flip the buckle (loop first) it doesn't slip at all. I have the brown version so my belt is the same color each side. YMMV with the realtree version. Got this belt to replace my 5.11 double duty belt that slips.

I love Carhartt brand, but this is a terrible belt!!! It does not stay tight and comes loose all day. If you like to sag your pants and adjust yourself all day long, then this belt is for you, otherwise, STAY AWAY!!! Wish I could get my money back. $30 in the toilet. Oh, and why did you stop making R33 Bibs in size 32W x 28L??? Very Very Disappointed. Love those bibs and I wish I could leave a good review there...

I bought this belt thinking everything had been great from Carhartt so far. but the belt keeps on slipping will not hold in place. I tried to take it back but did not have the receipt and salesperson did not believe me. I showed the person how it slips, also that I carry a tape measure on it sometimes and that makes it slip even worse. the comment was don't carry a tape measure. Very disappointed with the experience.

Good looks... Bad results.

It says rip resistant... they need to make it slip resistant. It looks great but the belt and buckle do not function well together. I'll need to wax the Nylon to actually get it to stay. I brought it camping (its called the outdoorsman) and I was adjusting it every 30 minutes.
