Carhartt B171 - Carpenter Relaxed Fit Jean

These are one of the best pair of pants I have ever owned in the last 60 years. So comfortable the pockets were perfectly set up for my needs. My biggest disappointment was that they do not continue to offer these pants. The ones I had to buy from Carhartt to replace these are noy the same type and feel cheaper and less build quality. But they also are still good pants. I just wish these were offered again cuz I'd buy a few more pair.

I have bought Carhartt work pants for years without a problem. So I figured I'd try the jeans. I purchased 4 pairs. First off, these are really small in the waist compared to the work pants of the same size. Second, after only a few times wearing them, 3 of the 4 have split in the crotch. Not at the seam, but the denim actually ripped. I do not use these jeans for work and have only worn them casually.

The jeans were too long and the waist too small. Not the quality I expected from Carhartt. They are getting lax in their quality control.

I bought 2 pairs of these in early 2018, and loved the quality and fit. Recently bought another pair, and they aren't the same jeans, or at least, Carhartt's quality control is still reliably unreliable: The new jeans are labelled as 30W-32L, my usual size, but they fit like they're 32W-34L, very loose and sloppy in the waist, seat, and legs. No problem with quality of materials and construction, just very disappointed in the change of fit. I've experienced this several times in the last 20 years I've been wearing Carhartt pants.

Thought this was such a great buy so I ordered 2 pairs. On the third time I wore the jeans the crotch rip completely out. Don't waist your money.

Several pair of these ripped at the crotch.. after years of Carhartt B171 use my husband will have to search for a new favorite. He is a farmer and they get lots of wear and tear unfortunately they don't make things like they use to!

I love these jeans!! Just can’t find them in stores. Found these online and took a chance on like the ones that were discontinued. I personally like the 15 oz. denim and they fit as advertised. Very, very pleased that I bought 5 pairs. Way to go Carhartt awesome job!!!!!Thanks
