I purchased this apron about the end of April, 2023. I used it immediately, and from day one, found the pockets to be handy for holding screws and my tape measure, However, the biggest shortcoming was the placement of the slim pocket in the center of the apron. The size appears to be designed to hold a pencil. However, when the pencil is in the center pocket, and i bend over to do any work in my knees, or while squatting down, the pencil in that center pocket pokes me right in the middle of my stomach. Very uncomfortable and dangerous. I would recommend to Carhartt, to sew a small, narrow pencil holder pocket in the side if the apron ( the edge of the large pocket) to allow for a pencil to he inserted on the right hand side of the apron. Please make the slim pocket large enough to hold a carpenters pencil. In fact I've decided to have my wife stitch in the right hand side of that pocket , a small pocket on my apron, The belt is adjustable so that a medium fits a variety of waist sizes

I love this durable tool apron!
I've been searching for something to hold larger tools besides my pockets so they are easy to reach and also easy to remove when I need to set them down. This is perfect! It's easy to clip on and off as needed and is the perfect size to hold a small notebook too, which has been helpful.
Only thing I'd change is to make a few slots in the front to fit a screw driver or wrench, etc, in addition to the larger pockets. I might just sew some in though. Thanks for the quality, durable product!
