I bought this to use as my truck bag. Goes in and back to the house. Carries my essential items in these troubled times. A ham transceiver, a pistol and extra magazines, and a portable GPS. This bag should last forever.

Nice bag, ordered directly from Carhartt. I use it as soft sided brief case. If I'm not carrying papers to and fro, I typically leave mine in the car so I'm ready for anything, basically anytime. Ample space to carry all office supplies EXCEPT copier machine. It just don't fit, but everything else does. Laptop, notebooks and pads and scissors and tape and clips and folders.....and, other items comforting to have nearby while on the road nowdays. It even holds my lunch sometimes! Paperwork, contracts and contacts etc on the road? No problem. Loops on front flap for securing smaller pouches or whatever, more pocket space in large backside compartment. Zippers and velcro keep things in place in the various pockets and pouches, adjustable straps keep the slightly oversized front cover flap cinched down against wind and rain, but to be honest, haven't been caught in the rain with it.... yet. I hesitated a few days about the price. I shouldn't have. Great (usual) Carhartt quality, very useful bag. Strong fabric, seams, and straps. Get one, or two, you won't regret it. After reading my review, I may get another one! LoL PS only gave four stars on durability because have only had it a few months. Time will tell, but with thousands of miles on it, it still looks brand new and has given no problems.

All in all this is a good bag for the price. It seems to be well built, and should last a good while. It is a little softer than I’d hoped for, and doesn’t hold its shape very well when irregularly-shaped items are loaded. A little Velcro to help hold the cover flap in place would be a nice touch, as well.

Would have liked some more pockets and storage organization for small things but otherwise a great bag. I do a lot of walking and it’s really comfortable.
