I wish this belt had two layers of leather. With one layer only, it will eventually warp.

The overall quality is what I expected. I do like the width of the belt because it indeed is suited to wearing with denim jeans and/or heavier slacks.

This is a nice belt, high quality construction with thick leather and nice metal hardware. I would expect it to last a long time with normal wear. I did the normal two sizes up from jean waist size and fit is perfect.

Exactly what I wanted

I usually get a few sizes larger for belts than my waist size. My last belt became much too large after I lost weight and the leather stretched. I am a size 38 so this time I order a size 40 belt. I thought it was too small but it has stretched to be perfect! The gold color is also very nice.
