No Velcro!

I like that these shorts do not have Velcro to snag on other clothes/materials in the wash. The material breathes very well too while still being strong enough to wash 2-3 times a week. I wouldn't put my wallet inside the side pocket since it doesn't clasp shut, but it's fine to hold some paper or etc. I haven't had anything come out of it, but heavier objects may be an issue. I really love these and will buy more in the near future.

I ordered a 33 which is my true size but I often fit into a 32. Glad I did because the waist run a tad small. Fortunately the waistband is slightly elasticized. Otherwise love the overall fit and the flattish cargo pockets that still have ample room for cell phone, keys notes, whatever. They look while worn exactly as they appear in the catalog photo. Fabric is lightweight yet strong and stitching is high quality. I expect these to last.

Great lightweight shorts - best on the market

They are absolutely great except for 1 drawback. The flapped cargo pocket needs Velcro or a button on the open end of the flap to help secure objects stored in those pockets. That would make them more functional.
