My boyfriend is a welder, and he swears by these pants. they protect him from getting burned and they last a long time. they also have the slot where you can put knee pads in if you want. we have been buying these for several years now. highly recommend. i recommend going up one size on the waste band as they are a little small and somewhat shrink with time. he wears a 34 waste but buys a 36 in carhartt

Great pants, I just ordered them too small. I'm normally a 32/32 in carhartts but I wanted to give a 30x32 a shot. Women's pants don't work for me at all because of my proportions- I have big legs but my waist is normally a 26/27. I have to size up so much so I actually have legroom and I just tack the waist with a couple darts in the back and they work awesome.
